On the corner of Park and 19th, there is a delicious Greek/Mediterranean restaurant called Barbounia. My girlfriends and I set off to Barbounia to enjoy a bottomless boozy brunch, as we pretend we are on Holiday in Greece, as everyone seems to be as I scroll through my insta feed. (FOMO) Regardless, this restaurant can be a real treat.
The restaurant’s atmosphere was trendy and chic; with fancy high ceilings, great lighting and good background music. The restaurant was packed (and loud) but that’s what you get when you dine at a good NYC spot. Reservations are a must.
With the purchase of your entree you can add $20 to receive unlimited prosecco, mimosas and bellinis. The waiter was reasonably good about refilling the drinks. Our food also came out fairly quick, which was great since we walked in starving and ready to mangia.
As for the food, there is a big variety of intriguing menu choices. We ordered a few plates to share.

The Spicy Feta dip was absolutely divine and my favorite dish we ordered. The bread they served it with was just as delicious. I have been craving it every minute since.
My only complaint about this place was that it was warm and stuffy in there and seemed to be no AC. Overall, the experience at Barbounia was pleasant and I will definitely return.
